What we do
We provide tailor made trainings that focus on addressing the core problems that contribute highly to the maternal and neonatal mortality in the “GOLDEN TIME”. The trainings focus on low cost and very basic, scientifically proven techniques that will reduce maternal and neonatal mortality. In realizing the Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG3), we use Helping Mothers Survive (HMS) and Helping Babies Breath (HBB) and customize it to the need and actual setting of a given environment.
Customized trainings will be given at grassroots health facilities for healthcare providers with on-going follow-up to realize the SDG3. Highly qualified and experienced midwives were trained as Trainers of Trainees (ToTs) who will provide the training to healthcare providers working in rural health facilities. Basic material as suction, bag and mask, blood pressure tool and manual vacuum KIWI are provided to all Health Centers.
